Does The Every Other Day Diet Work?
November 16th, 2007 · by The Fit Bastard · Filed Under: Fat Loss Nutrition · Product Reviews
In my opinion actions speak louder than words. It’s easy for people to say that a diet program is effective, but I like to actually see the results before I believe it. This is what my wife Angie and I are doing for you. We are applying the teachings of The Every Other Day Diet Plan and documenting our journey each and every day. Rather than having us tell you how totally awesome the program is, we want to prove it to you by sharing and showing our results. So just how effective is the Every Other Day Diet Plan?

Both Angie and I have to invest in belts and new cloths because our pants are literally falling off of us. I’ve obliterated 10 pounds of fat from my body in the first month and Angie’s abs are starting to very cut.
Here’s some photos…
Angie after 4 weeks on the program… the abs are starting to pop out

Angie and I have put together a video discussing how we’ve optimized the program as well as why Angie hates dieting. We hope that you enjoy it.
The impressive thing is that we really don’t have a lot of weight to lose to begin with. My point is that when you are already pretty lean it is often much more difficult to burn those last remaining 10-20 pounds from your body than it would be for someone who has to burn 100 pounds of fat from their body.
Scott’s embarrassing before picture
I really didn’t want to post this up because I was ashamed that I temporarily let my business life consume me and my body fell apart.

The best thing about the Every Other Day Diet Plan is that I’m burning pretty darn close to 100% fat as opposed to most diet plans where you would lose mostly water weight and muscle in the first few weeks. I’ve been monitoring this very carefully and I take multiple measurements with calipers and my very expensive bio-electrical-impedance scale. Many times I just give my head a shake when I see the results.
Jon Benson and Janis Hauser have done a tremendous job of creating a diet program that will fit into anyone’s lifestyle. Angie and I give 100% praise to The Every Other Day Diet Plan and recommend it for everyone. But hey, don’t just go based on what we say. Go by our results. Realize that we are no different from you. If we can do it so can you.

Look for our updated pictures every Friday. This is our commitment to you. And we will give updated videos as well.
Thank you for sharing in this journey with us. We hope that it has a positive impact on your body and your life.

If you haven’t listened to the interview that I did with Jon covering some very important information on why most diets actually make you fat and why managing your stress and applying a stress free way of eating is crucial to your hormone balance and your ability to burn fat then you must take some time to listen by following this link:

You know, I might feel that Scott’s before and after pics had some relevance if it wasn’t for the before pic has him straight on light, and the after pic has the light angled to overemphasize what might be no real changes at all but body definition caused by a light trick. You have been doing this long enough you really don’t have an excuse to be posting such pictures that involve trickery. I think this makes me want to cancel all future mailings from you and to disregard the validity of your ‘diet plan’.

Dude, although the lighting is a bit different from where I stood there is no lighting in the world that could improve upon what my before picture looked like.
To be honest, it had to be the flash of the camera that made it look like a lighting difference, because I pretty much stood in the same spot for my week 1 photo that is up on my other blog.
Check out the roundness of my shoulders, check out how stretched out my shorts are, check out my chest theres nothing but fat under it, check out how much more my body slops in from my lats to my hips.
Obviously you haven’t been following my story and my out right honesty. You must not have been on my list for very long to realize that I do nothing to trick anyone, it serves me no purpose.
I could have easily deleted your comment and not shared it with everyone… but I didn’t.
Hate all you want man. Just realize that there are times when you are hating someone that can actually help you.

And on a side note…
It’s not like these are even my after pictures. My journey is far from over. I’ve only been on the program for 4 weeks and experienced tremendous results.
This was my third picture with many more to come and these pictures will be taken in the exact same spot so any other haters won’t be able to complain about lighting.
I have no intention of going off the Every Other Day Diet for quite a while if at all. I will be continuing to document my journey on a daily basis over at my http://www.Unstoppable-FatLoss.com blog.
I don’t see how much more transparent I can be than what I’ve done over the past month???
The upsetting thing is that I’ve actually put a lot of effort into this. My wife and I have actually experienced incredible results and you’re telling us that we haven’t.
It reminds me of when I put on 30 pounds of muscle a few years back and I had many people tell me that I must be taking steroids. Why is it that when people achieve great success, there’s always someone there trying to knock them down? That upset me just as much because here I was, a total hardgainer busting my butt off in the gym and eating the right foods and I had people telling me that I must be taking the easy way and using drugs. Nope… just frickin effort man!
When it comes to the Every Other Day Diet, I could have just sent out an email that said, “Buy this book, it’s great,” like most marketers would. But I never recommend anything that I haven’t tried and can show that it works. And this time I took it a step further and actually document my journey while following the program and have my wife doing the same thing.
Here’s a link to just one of my open and honest stories…
http://unstoppable-fatloss.com/blog/eodd-results/
There’s a picture there that shows my results after the 7 day detox in the Every Other Day Diet Plan. I lost 5 pounds of FAT during that time and my body dramatically changed. That photo was taken pretty much in the same spot as my before picture, right under the same light. It seems like the flash of the camera only went off for the before pic which will make it look like more lighting was present. But again, you just have to look at certain areas of my body where you can tell that I was much fatter.
Believe me, I wish that lighting could have made me thinner before. I didn’t post my before picture at the beginning because I was actually embarrassed of it. But here I posted it this time because I didn’t want to hold anything back from you… and you turn it around and make it sound like I’m tricking you… “Trickery Schmickery”
I realized that I shouldn’t be embarrassed about how I looked in that before picture. Yes I did gain fat last year. I went through a temporary depression after closing my gym and claiming bankruptcy. It was a really tough time for me, and here you want to take it all away from me. You take away the changes that I’ve gone through and try to discredit what I’m trying to do for so many people and that’s to help them believe that they too can transform their body and their life as I have. I’m just an average guy. If I can do it, so can anyone else.
It also goes to show that even with my years of education, the experiences that I’ve gone through, and my constant research and dedication to the fitness lifestyle, sometimes life throws you curveballs and can temporarily set you back. That setback has driven me forward and will allow me to achieve results greater than I ever could have if I didn’t go through that experience.
So have I experienced tremendous results in the past month? Abso-frickin-lutely! If you need to move in with me for the next month to prove the results that I will be posting 4 weeks from now, be my guest.
It will be interesting to see how you try to discredit me then.
