Father’s Day Workout
June 14th, 2008 · Filed Under: Fat Loss Workouts
Today is a very special day for me. I’m the proud father of my nearly 7 year old son Shayne, and my beautiful 5 year old daughter Noelle. My family means everything to me. I experienced a wonderful moment while filming one of the workouts from The Fit Bastard Express program recently. It made me realize the positive influence that I’m having on my children. Here’s the video of the 10 minute express workout that I did. Take note of 3 separate times where my daughter models my behavior.
Shoulder & Ab Workout
The first time that my daughter surprises me and comes into the picture she sees me doing a shoulder press on the stability ball. So she decides to grab a smaller stability ball and 5 pound dumbbells and do a shoulder press herself.
The next time she comes into the picture she brings me some water in one of her toy tea cups. She obviously knows the value of water. She didn’t bring me a pop or a beer. She brought me what we all drink in our house… refreshing water.
The last time that Noelle pops into the picture she begins to do burpees. Now I wasn’t even doing burpees, but she has seen me do it before. She even asks me if I’m going to do them in the workout. Maybe I should hire her as my trainer
Looking at these pictures of my beautiful, healthy, energetic children, it makes me aware that I owe them the gift of providing them with the healthiest father that I could possibly be. I would do anything for these two miracles that I helped create.
That includes waking up early to do cardio, pushing my self just beyond my limits, stepping outside my comfort zone and experiencing my best workouts ever, eating healthy natural foods on a consistent basis, and participating in fun activities together as a family.

They are a major driving force for me, there’s no doubt about that. And seeing the impact that I’m having on them and knowing that they will be role models for other children, really brings a smile to my face.
Living in optimal health is a great gift for my children, and besides a loving and healthy family, the next best gift that I could receive came from myself…
The gift of 6 pack abs!
I consider all the hard work that I went through to achieve 6 pack abs, as a gift to myself. It was the best thing that I could have ever done for myself.
Give yourself and your family the best gift that you could possibly give. The gift of optimal health.
With the 10 - 20 minute express home workouts you can get in great shape even when your kids are around. And it’s much more enjoyable when they surprise you as my daughter did in the video.
Be a positive role model for your children. They deserve it as much as you deserve to be living in the best physique possible.
Start using the same workouts that I used to get 6 pack abs. You can find them at…
www.TheFitBastard.com/ActionTaker.php
And as a bonus you also get The Fit Chic year of workouts for FREE! This way your children can have 2 parents living in optimal health. There’s no better gift than that.
So treat yourself today to a workout program that not only fits your lifestyle, but is one that you can stick with for life.
I hope that you enjoyed the video. And to all the dad’s out there… Happy Father’s Day!
Give your beautiful children a hug from the Tousignant family.
Have a 6 Pack Abs-solutely awesome day!

Scott, here is wishing you a very Happy Father’s Day! Loved the video, both for the workout and for seeing your precious gift of a daughter! She’s so cute! My 3 year old likes to help mommy(me) workout, too. and he also likes to pose with me when I take my daily pictures.

Wow that was a cool cool vid Scott, loving it and as a daddy to an almost 6 year old girl who does my very best to model a healthyt lifestyle I got a real kick out of seeing Noelle model the shoulder press, bring you some H20 and then bust out some perfect burpess, man we can all model those from HER!! I started teaching a Play Ground Fitness Class for women here in Houston and it is so cool to see my lil girl crank out some full on push ups, then do walking lunges and pullups on monkey bars as well…look what we are doing for our daughter’s Scott…sure beats modeling sitting in front of the ‘idiot box’ (Electronic Income Reducer, the TV that is) watching garbage, downing a six pack and stuffing grabage down our gullets aye!?
Great vid Scott thanks for that, I am going to get a Flip cam and styart videoing some of our http://www.PlayGroundFitCamp.com classes, especially the ones where my lil girl joins in and when she lays on my back for resisted pushups!
Ahh the fun of modeling including our kids in on a healthy lifestyle, and us dads leading the way!
Time to go wake up my lil princess and head down the beach for some fun and some soft sand wind sprints and bear crawls!
Happy Father’s Day my fellow Canuck (Ontario) friend!

Thanks Suzette and Jared. It’s great to see many others who are setting a positive example for their children.
Way to go Jared! I would love to see some video footage of your lil girl joining in on your bootcamp fun.
Keep up the great work both of you! You are both great role models in many ways!!!
